My grandsons are so fortunate to have Mr Andrew for their piano teacher! His approach to learning is on of patience and encouragement. My grandsons not only enjoy the weekly lessons, they love playing their pieces at home, without even being told to! I highly recommend Mr Andrew to be your chidren’s, or your own, piano teacher!

All 5 of my children have gotten to experience Andrew as their instructor. He makes learning fun! With games and lab instruction, Andrew thinks outside the box to make piano fun and engaging. My 8 year old asks to get to practice 😄

About the Piano Teacher
Hey there! I’m Andrew. I’ve been a piano teacher in the West Valley since 2016 and I still genuinely love what I do.
Teaching piano is my life’s work (not just a ‘side-hustle’). There is no greater joy than seeing music come to life for my students. I love meeting my students where they are at and seeing them discover the joy of music.
What makes our piano lessons different?
Make Music
from Day One

Gone are the days where students stare at a book and play “one-note-at-a-time” (yawn). After all, shouldn’t piano lessons be about making music?
At Piano with Andrew, we teach pieces by pattern (having the student copy the teacher) while they are learning to read music. This way, they can play pieces they love from the very first piano lesson!
Go Beyond
the Bench

Our Music Lab is where note-reading and theory comes to life!
Students get an extra 30 minutes outside of their regular piano lesson each week where they work on games and music learning apps in our Music Lab. Our students learn their notes and theory concepts quickly!
Be Part of a
Great Community

Piano is often a solitary pursuit. No wonder students often want to quit!
Our quarterly group lessons, summer camps and studio events help students form lasting friendships that make piano lessons more enjoyable. Once they become friends, my students are eager to play for each other!

To make real progress, you need access to a fully functional, well-tuned acoustic piano or a full-sized weighted keyboard for daily practice. A small unweighted keyboard from a big box store isn’t going to cut it. Not sure what to look for? I’m happy to help point you in the right direction.
